RE: School's Out! - Maggie Colley - 06-07-2020 Maggie knelt down again. "Don't worry sweetheart. I'm sorry something like that happened to you. How about I leave you here with Mr. Crane, so he can ask you some more question, and I'll fetch your father, alright?" RE: School's Out! - Elijah Crane - 06-07-2020 Elijah nodded. "I'll make you some tea to warm you while we wait for your father, alright?" He said to the boy and sighed. "I'm so sorry for what happened. There are truly some terrible people in town. Just relax, and I'll start asking around if anyone saw some men hanging around the school.' RE: School's Out! - Abraham Ward - 06-07-2020 Bram was at home. After Anne had shouted at him for getting his clothes so dirty, he was now playing in the yard with some other children, quite happily. RE: School's Out! - Clover Mulvahil - 06-07-2020 Clover nodded. "His name is Frederic," he said softly. "Thank you." He looked back up at Mr. Crane and waited for the questions this nice lady had mentioned to come. And also the tea. He liked tea- but only with lots of cream and sugar, so he mentioned that shyly to Mr. Crane. RE: School's Out! - Maggie Colley - 06-07-2020 Maggie found the clockmaker's shop and entered. "Mr. Mulvahil?" RE: School's Out! - Frederic Mulvahil - 06-07-2020 Frederic looked up to see a young woman with a toddler in her arms. "How may I help you?" he asked with a warm smile, drying a bit of oil off his hands with a scrap of cloth. RE: School's Out! - Elijah Crane - 06-07-2020 "Well I'll be happy to meet him. I am sorry this happened to you.' He made the boy a tea just the way he wanted and handed it to him and let him sit by the fire to warm up. He took out some paper and started to write down the report. "How long ago did this happen? Right after school? I can ask Mister Meijer if he saw anything as well." RE: School's Out! - Clover Mulvahil - 06-07-2020 Clover nodded, which he seemed to be doing a lot lately. "The sun was by the pier," he said, and by that he meant it was around four o'clock in the afternoon. The young boy preferred to tell time by the sun's position in the sky relative to Whitby than by a clock- ironic, considering his father was the town's resident clocksmith. "and thank you for the tea." RE: School's Out! - Elijah Crane - 06-07-2020 It took Elijah a moment of thinking to realize what he meant and he nodded. "Ah, alright." He jotted down the description of time and beside it around what time it should mean. He glanced over and smiled at the boy, 'You're very welcome. I hope it's to your taste. If you want more, don't hesitate to ask. Just relax and hopefully we will have your coat back soon and the men responsible with face justice." Of course in his mind, depending on it, a good apology and maybe some community service should be plenty. RE: School's Out! - Maggie Colley - 06-07-2020 Maggie held on to John's hand tightly, for the boy was trying to reach different instruments and clocks. "I found your son, Clover, wandering the streets, ser." She informed the man. "He and a friend were attacked and they took your son's coat. He's at the police station now." |
