"That doesn't have anything to do with the inn." Why was this man explaining sleep to him? Did he think he's a moron?

"I have to get back to the inn to sleep." What was going on?

"You don't have to sleep in the inn."

"Well my wife's family has a small cottage, and I've already booked the room." Why was he arguing over this?

Anthony stayed silent and just stared at Tobias. "Well, we can look around for the inn, then," he eventually just shrugged. "we can go somewhere else if we don't find it, though." This guy was so difficult to talk to. He didn't understand anything Anthony said.

Tobias stared back, confused. "Yeah..." Find the place. That was what he had planned. He began to walk again. "Ye never been here before then?"

"I don't think so." That was probably a lie, but either way, Anthony didn't want to put in the effort to show Tobias where to go. "Imagine if you'd have left alone. You'd be lost here alone. That's sad." Now he's lost with Anthony, which wasn't much better.

"It's a small town. I would easily find my way," Tobias said, wondering if this guy was trying to be annoying. They got back onto a main road that Tobias recognized.

"But what if you wouldn't? That would be bad." Anthony followed Tobias. "Thankfully you found me and I'm helping you." Nevermind that he hasn't done shit.

What?! Probably this was all part of the man's mental condition, Tobias told himself. "Yes, that's great," he said, picking up the pace.
