Though Anthony may have normally been bothered by someone touching his hair, this was fine. More soothing and nice than he would have liked to admit it to be. Anthony leaned into the touch, cherishing it as if this will be the last time anyone ever shows him affection like this ever again. Though he was definitely too flustered and had way too many thoughts racing through his head to be able to fall asleep quickly, after some time he did manage to do it. God. He really could get used to this.

Elijah fell asleep rather quickly and certainly well against him. When he woke, he was much more prepared. The constable didn't want to move though, he wanted to take the day off or at least start later. He could have laid there in bed for hours, cuddled close to the other man. He shook his head as he realized this was truly the evil of temptation, he wanted to do nothing else but enjoy his company. He blushed and stood up, "Want breakfast?" he spoke low, not wanting to force Anthony to wake.

Anthony was startled awake as soon as Elijah stood up, and sat up in bed. He stretched, for a moment, before looking up at the man with a faint smile. "Good morning, Elijah," he greeted, before answering his question. "yeah, sure." Breakfast sounded good right now, and honestly it's not like he would have anything against it anyways. Anthony lay down again, wanting to make this whole thing last as long as possible, though he knew that he'd have to get out of bed at some point, really.

Elijah smiled and nodded. "I'll have it ready soon. You don't have to hurry out of bed." He touched his cheek, highly tempted to kiss him once more but then he turned and went to change, wash up, and start breakfast.

Maybe Anthony should've actually gotten out of bed by now and gone to do something productive, but he didn't—he was way too comfortable right now to consider getting out of bed. "Thank you, dear," Anthony said, using the petname as mostly only a joke, just because it's cheesy and he thought it was somewhat funny.

Elijah froze hearing that and blushed. He didn't say anything and continued getting ready for the day. He had the breakfast cooking and went to check in to see if Anthony was up yet. He smirked seeing him still in bed. He knelt down beside the bed and rest his head on the man's chest. "Did you want breakfast in bed, sweetheart?" He was going to try to think up a petname and that one stumbled out. Oof, he'd have to work on that.

Anthony smiled as Elijah returned, kneeling down besides the bed and resting his hea on his chest. Anthony ran his fingers through his hair, laughing suddenly but softly at the petname. This is a thing that he will never get used to, though. ""Oh, if it's not too much of a bother, darling," he grinned. This was a joke and all but he genuinely enjoyed it, cheesy and terrible as it was.

"Never a bother if it brings a smile to your face, my prince." Elijah chuckled softly though he felt another cringe, he was really bad at coming up with a good nickname, good thing this wasn't serious. He still smiled as he enjoyed the moment with the other man and then stood and went to the kitchen to finish cooking.

That petname was so bad that it was almost good. Anthony grinned, revelling in the moment. "Oh, how kind and gracious you are, my love," he said with a faux-dramatic tone, very happy that this was all a joke because he wouldn't have been able to take this shit seriously at all. Anthony let Elijah go as the latter went back to the kitchen, taking this time alone as a chance to fix his hair (easily the most important thing of all).

Elijah actually chuckled at the name and shook his head waving him off so he could cook and focus. When it was ready , he brought the plate on a little tray that he'd used when he was sick months previously. "Here you are, my heart." He winked and chuckled before going to grab him a glass of milk.
