Anthony laughed. "Oh, yes, stroke my ego even more," he joked, but he was actually grateful about the compliments. He could get used to this whole thing.

Elijah smiled as he hugged him from behind. "I'm just being honest. I wish we could be happy like this forever.." He admitted as his head rested on his shoulder.

Anthony smiled at the affection. "I wish so, too," he said. "but, well, we're happy right now and that's most important." Forever is an awful long time, anyways.

"That is most important!" He agreed and kissed his cheek before checking the dinner. He stirred then filled the pie and put it in his oven. "It'll be a little while but then I think you'll have something delicious."

Anthony nodded. "Really? Will I have the privilege of knowing what that thing is? Or is it a surprise?" To be fair, as long as he's not being fed straight-up arsenic, he probably won't mind what it is either way. Food is food.

Elijah smiled. "It's a pie. I hope you like it?" They took a bit of work but certainly something special he wanted to make for him, it was a very small one, perfect for one person as that was usually what he made.

Anthony raised an eyebrow. "Really? You're spoling me," he laughed to himself. "but, I mean, chances are I'll like it." He liked most food Elijah made, and even if he didn't, he was polite enough to not voice his opiniok out loud.

"I only have small pans for this sort of thing since I make it for myself usually. But since I'm not hungry, it's the perfect size for you to eat." He looked happy at him. "I really hope you enjoy it. Sorry it takes so long to make though."

"Don't worry about that at all," Anthony reassured. "I mean, the fact you're doing these things for me is good in itself. I would have to be a dick to make you feel bad about...how long it takes or whatever-the-fuck."  Anthony stretched his arms, cracking his joints

Elijah blushed and smiled letting go of him as he stretched to check on the food. "But I know you're hungry. I am still sorry you have to wait. Perhaps you'd like something to drink? Maybe some milk or something?" He had a feeling he didn't care a lot for tea, but certainly no alcohol after yesterday.
