She opened her eyes and peered at him sleepily. "Must have drifted off. Should walk home." She sighed. "I am sorry," she murmured and made no move to stand yet. Her body was exhausted, she thought, perhaps from crying so much in the last several days. Ahh, she wasn't sure what she was going to do next, but whatever it was... well... she would have to see.
"I should go home," she repeated, more to herself than to him. Home. Where was home?
Amelia pushed the blanket away from her gently and got the fresh air she needed to wake up just a little more.
