Francis smiled and seemed to want to say or do something but it was far too open. "Alright.. come with me for a moment?" He asked as he tried to guide him to a small alley between the hotel and the nearest building. He just wanted a moment without prying eyes.

"I never want much of anything in life. I get by on having nothing and just getting what I can for the next day. You and your sister need so much more. So..if I can just.. have this..' he said gesturing to the space between him and Edmund, saying he wanted whatever they had together to keep going. "That's all I ever need from you.
