Tristan winced at the rude language. "And did you assault your cell mate, or anyone else?" he asked.

Anthony kind of vaguely gestured at himself, in a sort of 'do you really think I am capable of assaulting someone' way. "No."

"And how about the priest? Why did you get angry with him?" Perhaps that was where the insanity hid. Some people got preoccupied with religion.

Anthony absolutely did not remember. "I don't know," he shrugged.

"You don't remember?" He noted something down. "Were you sober?"

He had to think about it a little, but then he vividly remembered how the constable told him off for being drunk. Ah. "No."

Tristan couldn't help a sigh as he made a note on that. For all he knew the constable had mistaken a drunk for a lunatic. "Anything else you remember from that night?"

Anthony looked down for a moment. "No, not really," he shrugged.

He pressed his lips together and nodded. After thinking for a moment, he asked: "You get in trouble with the law a lot?"

Anthony frowned for a moment as he thought about how to answer. "Well, kind of," he eventually said. Definitely more than the average person, that's true.
