Anthony shook his head, muttering something incomprehensible through his tears and unsteady breathing. This is it, this is fucking it, he's going to die or worse—

Elijah didn't know which idea he was shaking his head to. He just held him and rubbed his back slowly. "It'll be alright.. just.. slow.. deep breaths..' He tried to show him by taking long exaggerated breaths but was sure he wasn't listening. "I'm here.. It'll be al-alright." He hoped so anyway.

Rose brought out a glass of water and tried to hand it to the man.

Anthony felt like he wanted to puke or cry or light himself on fire, anything to get away from this. He didn't want to be held, he didn't like it, he did not fucking like it but he didn't protest against it whatsoever.

Anthony whipped his head around to face the direction that footsteps were coming from—and looked genuinely terrified as he looked at Rose. This is it, this is the fucking end!

This wasn't working. He was scared and not listening or anything. He had heard if someone was panicking or delirious you were supposed to slap them hard to shock them out of it. He couldn't hit Anthony! "Sorry Rose.. I think you're right. Get the doctor. "He brought him back inside and sat him on the sofa pulling free as he thought maybe he wanted to be alone. "Maybe this will be better..'

Rose put the glass down and ran.

Anthony just let himself be led inside, too terrified and lacking in willpower to do anything to stop it. Sitting on the couch, Anthony covered his face with his hands again, completely and utterly terrified by what was going to happen (or, well, at least what he thought was going to happen). He's done something horrible and she's pissed about it and—and.....Anthony's thoughts fell apart as he just descended into a horribly, completely panicked state, interrupted for a moment by a brief coughing fit but quickly resuming.

Elijah seemed in thought and put a heavy blanket over his shoulders hoping it would comfort him. He knew it helped when he felt anxious. "Is.. that better?" He frowned and backed away to give him his space. He had no clue what to do and was very worried.

Anthony felt as if he was suffocating—not even necessarily because of the blanket. It helped a little bit, even. He was still in a horrible, horruble state and very deep in uis flashbacks and panic attacks, but the weight was somewhat comforting. He just wanted to get this all over with and never have to look her in the eye again and just choke and die.

Elijah frowned and watched him in worry. He really didn't know what to do. He tried to think and nervously started humming. He liked music, maybe it would help him feel better?
