Seriously? He really hoped Elijah didn't have to put up with this guy. "You act like a child." He walked on.

Anthony was genuinely taken aback by that. "No, I don't," he said after a short moment of being quiet. "you don't....you don't even know me! I don't act like a fucking child!" He feels like he's going to cry again. But that would only prove the guy's point, so he can't allow himself to do that.

"Watch yer mouth." He still walked. But he wasn't moving in the direction of his home. He was just walking to get away from this guy.

Anthony frowned, his lip trembling slightly as he tried not to bawl his eyes out again. "You can't just.......say that and expect me to not say something about it!" He considered whether he should just leave or keep arguing—and came to absolutely no conclusion. "So, like, fuck you."

"Ye'r a disgrace." Ben grunted.

Anthony shouldn't let this get to him, but he did. "A disgrace to who, exactly?" he asked. Seriously, fuck this guy.

"This town." He muttered, and he turned. "And Elijah, if yer speaking t' truth at all."

Anthony was suddenly very quiet. "No, I'm not," he said in a small voice. He's not a disgrace to anyone and this guy is just saying that to make him feel bad but like what if he actually is unlovable and disgusting and a disgrace to everyone? He's not crying. Yet. But he's getting there.

"Go home and sober up." Ben said. And with that, he began to walk again.
